Project

The Portage-des-Roches Dam is located in the City of Saguenay, in the Laterrière sector. This dam is part of the 12 structures located on the circumference of the Kénogami Reservoir.

This gravity type concrete dam is built on a rock foundation. It is 460 meters long overall, has a maximum height of 21 meters and the peak of the dam is at elevation 165.89 meters. Much repair work was carried out in the past, both in civil engineering and on the hydraulic-mechanical equipment.

The mandate awarded by CEHQ included optimizing the concepts chosen by CEHQ, carrying out the engineering for the concepts chosen, preparing the documents for the call for tenders and managing the construction.
